Yoga

My yoga journey started when I was training to do a 100 Km trek in the Sahara Desert. I was told that exercising in the heat would have helped me cope. Living in London, I thought my only option was hot yoga so I started attending Hot Yoga classes and soon became a habitué.

Towards the end of that year I attended a hatha yoga retreat in Ibiza and loved every minute of it. Once back, I started to go to as many classes, workshops and retreats as I possibly could and was lucky enough to meet some really great, inspirational teachers. I eventually decided I wanted to become a teacher myself.

I have practised various styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Hatha, Iyengar, Kundalini, Bikram, Sivananda, Yin, Scaravelli and Vinyasa Flow.

With experience and time, I realised my logical brain prefers the Iyengar stricter alignment-based approach, my body loves a strong challenging class and my heart just likes to inspire mindful movements and a deep sense of awareness. This is pretty much what I try to convey in my classes, always with a smile on my face.

I’m also trained to teach meditation, pregnancy, and birth preparation yoga, which I absolutely adore.

I mainly teach corporate classes in London and 1-2-1s, with the occasional retreat around the world.

I teach it because I want to share that feeling with others."
